Job summary

Jobtailor in Boston is seeking a detail‑oriented eDiscovery contractor to log, describe, and validate productions for loading into Relativity. You will coordinate with producing parties to obtain passwords, perform virus scans, and ensure data is complete and properly processed within agency protocols.

The role requires 3 years of eDiscovery experience, a bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience), and U.S. citizenship with ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance.

Qualifications

• Three years of eDiscovery technical experience in compiling, analyzing, and synthesizing information to support project task requirements.
• Bachelor’s degree; three years of additional, directly relevant work experience may substitute for the degree.

Responsibilities

• Log production in the Agency's eDiscovery Tracking System.
• Digest cover letters and describe the production briefly.
• Call producing party to obtain passwords if encrypted productions with no password.
• Determine if cover letters contain substantive information for Relativity loading.
• Virus scan the production with multiple antivirus tools.
• Address or reject issues detected during virus scanning per protocol.
• Copy clean productions to the Agency's network.
• Follow protocols for handling documents (e.g., whistleblower, MOUs, BSA, audio files).
• Analyze productions to determine required processing and verification of completeness.
• Communicate issues if data is load-incomplete to Litigation Support Specialist.
• Monitor for productions arriving via email and FTP.
• Scan/ OCR paper documents for Relativity loading; coordinate off-site scanning if needed.
