Job summary

ZT Systems in Secaucus, NJ is seeking a Staff EDI Developer to design, code, test, and support EDI solutions and API integrations across the SDLC. You will analyze requirements, build EDI mappings, and enhance interfaces with ERP systems and partners.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in EDI development, strong SQL and BizTalk skills, and experience with X12 standards. Onsite role with a comprehensive benefits package, located in New Jersey.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in programming application software and design methodology.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience as an EDI developer.
• Strong SQL development skills including stored procedures and data validation.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft BizTalk Server development and deployment.
• Experience with trading partner onboarding and EDI mappings.
• Proficient with relational DBs and MS SQL; familiar with DAL frameworks.
• Strong knowledge of SDLC and agile development.
• Knowledge of Supply Chain and ERP systems.
• Experience with ANSI X12 EDI standards (e.g., 810/830/846...).

Responsibilities

• Work with business users to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Maintain detailed documentation of EDI processes, API specs, and data workflows.
• Configure and implement EDI transactions (X12) and mapping processes.
• Develop and integrate APIs for data exchange between systems.
• Design and support ETL/data synchronization between EDI and ERP databases.
• Develop SQL scripts, stored procedures, views, and data transformations.
• Perform integration testing and coordinate testing with trading partners.
• Troubleshoot EDI transactions, BizTalk, data transfers, and DB synchronization.
• Provide regular reports on EDI performance and improvements.
• Collaborate with external partners to ensure successful data exchange.
• Monitor automated processes to guarantee reliable EDI document transmissions.
• Ensure high performance and reliability of applications.
