Job summary

Lumen is seeking a highly experienced Lead Technical Product Owner to own the vision, roadmap, and backlog for Edge Fabric and Edge Infrastructure, translating needs into measurable outcomes for engineering teams.

You will collaborate across Product Management, Architecture, Engineering, Security, Operations, and Customer Experience, coaching Agile practices, ensuring release readiness, and driving value across cloud, edge, and AI workloads.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in CS, engineering, IT, telecommunications, business, or equivalent experience.
7+ years in technical product ownership, product management, software, platform, cloud, or networking roles.
5+ years as Technical Product Owner, Product Manager, or similar leadership role.
Experience in telecommunications, cloud infrastructure, edge computing, or distributed systems.

Responsibilities

Own and communicate the product vision and roadmap for Edge Fabric capabilities.
Translate needs into epics, features, user stories and acceptance criteria.
Maintain and prioritize the product backlog based on value, risk, and dependencies.
Make timely product decisions and clarify scope for engineering teams.
Lead Agile ceremonies and ensure release readiness and handoff.
