Job summary

Lumen seeks a Lead Technical Product Owner to own the vision, roadmap, and backlog for Edge Fabric and Edge Infrastructure capabilities across edge compute, networking, storage, orchestration, and cloud platform services.

You will translate customer and architectural needs into clear requirements, lead Agile delivery, and collaborate with Architecture, Engineering, Security, and Sales to ensure release value and success.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, Telecommunications, Business, or equivalent experience.
7+ years in technical product ownership, product management, software engineering, platform engineering, cloud, or networking roles.
5+ years serving as a Technical Product Owner or similar leadership role.
Demonstrated ability to define product strategy and manage complex backlogs across multiple teams.
Experience within telecommunications, cloud infrastructure, edge computing, networking, or distributed systems.

Responsibilities

Own and communicate the product vision and roadmap for Edge Fabric capabilities.
Translate needs into epics, features, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
Maintain and prioritize the backlog based on value, risk, and dependencies.
Make timely product decisions and clarify scope, sequencing, and tradeoffs for teams.
Define and track product success metrics like adoption, reliability, and time to value.
