Job summary

Google is seeking a Senior Technical Program Manager for the Edge Capacity Delivery team to lead complex, multi‑disciplinary initiatives spanning global CDN hardware, edge security frameworks, and supply‑chain aware roadmaps.

You will drive end‑to‑end lifecycle management, coordinate with OEMs and internal security groups, and translate requirements into actionable plans across engineering and business stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field, business, operations, or equivalent practical experience.
• 8 years of experience in program management.
• Experience with networking, data center, or telecommunications infrastructure environments.
• Experience with network infrastructure security or hardware product management.

Responsibilities

• Direct cross‑functional initiatives to execute security strategies and frameworks across globally distributed edge infrastructure, acting as a pragmatic liaison to security organizations with a focus on network‑layer and physical site security.
• Serve as the operational product lead for the edge caching and CDN hardware portfolio, developing comprehensive product roadmaps and prioritizing engineering backlogs.
• Lead end‑to‑end lifecycle management and introduction processes for new edge hardware generations, developing deployment plans to ensure capacity reliability and seamless integration.
• Collaborate directly with third‑party hardware vendors and OEMs to influence vendor product roadmaps, evaluate technical specifications, and navigate supply chain complexities.
• Serve as the primary operational conduit between engineering teams and internal business stakeholders, translating customer delivery requirements and technical network capabilities into structured operational plans.
