Job summary

NextEdge is seeking a Project Manager II to organize and deliver Medium-scale data center deployments. You will coordinate with telecom colocation, ISP providers, electrical subcontractors, vendors, and client teams to manage scope, schedule, documentation, risks, and deliverables across active deployments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• 2–4+ years of project management, construction, telecom colocation, ISP infrastructure, data center, electrical construction, or related experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, coordination, and delivery of Micro Edge Data Center projects and related infrastructure initiatives.
• Manage projects within telecom colocation and ISP-facing environments, coordinating with carriers, ISPs, cross-connect providers, and stakeholders.
• Track schedules, milestones, deliverables, and dependencies to support timely delivery.
• Coordinate with internal teams, client stakeholders, subcontractors, vendors, and field resources to define and maintain scope and execution plans.
• Oversee electrical construction scopes beyond standard telecom site requirements, including utility service, switchgear, grounding, and energization.
• Monitor progress, risks, issues, and changes; develop mitigation plans for successful execution.
• Create and maintain project documentation: schedules, status reports, budgets, trackers, meeting notes, closeout docs.
• Analyze data to generate metrics, identify trends, and provide actionable leadership insights.
• Ensure compliance with subcontractor, vendor, customer, safety, and contractual requirements.
• Improve visibility and efficiency by monitoring PM systems and reporting tools.
• Serve as a key contact for stakeholders, escalate issues, and support resolution of constraints.
