Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. in Austin, TX is seeking a Senior Systems Development Engineer to lead automation software, diagnostic tooling, and fleet health infrastructure for AWS server platforms.

You will work across multiple teams to build scalable, reliable systems that keep our edge and accelerated (AI/ML) compute fleet healthy with zero-touch automation. You will collaborate with SDEs, SDETs, hardware engineers, TPMs and design partners to ensure tooling and automation requirements are met

Qualifications

• 6+ years of non-internship software development experience.
• 6+ years of systems design, software development, operations, and process improvement.
• 5+ years of programming in modern languages such as C++, C#, Java, Python, Golang or Ruby.
• Experience with Linux/Unix environments.
• Experience leading design, build and deployment of complex software in production.
• Ability to collaborate with SDEs, SDETs, hardware engineers and TPMs.

Responsibilities

• Build and own automation infrastructure for fleet health across edge and accelerator compute platforms.
• Develop diagnostic tooling to automate root cause analysis and triage.
• Lead software development for server hardware programs with durable, scalable systems.
• Create CI/CD pipelines for rapid, reliable deployments.
