Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC in Austin, TX is seeking a hardware engineer to own and lead the design and validation of accelerated servers for AI workloads. You will partner with cross-functional teams to translate customer needs into scalable hardware solutions for data centers.

You will collaborate with vendors and ODM/JDM partners, oversee manufacturing and post-launch performance, and help drive cost efficiency and reliability in high-demand AI training environments.

Qualifications

• Experience working with interdisciplinary teams to execute product design from concept to production.
• Experience developing and executing test procedures for mechanical or electrical systems/components.
• Knowledge of server hardware and components.
• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent.
• 1+ years of server hardware troubleshooting and repair experience.
• 4+ years of hardware design and validation of components, subsystems and systems.

Responsibilities

• Own and lead design, development and root cause analysis of a new segment of accelerated servers.
• Collaborate with customers to understand technical needs and business goals for scalable solutions.
• Coordinate with component, firmware, test, qualification and integration engineers and manufacturing partners.
• Oversee fleet performance and ensure alignment with customer requirements throughout lifecycle.
• Work with vendors and ODM/JDM teams to develop and manufacture at scale.
