Job summary

Siemens EDA in Santa Clara, CA is seeking a Senior Manager – EDA Strategy and Operations to drive cross-functional processes across portfolio units and accelerate product time-to-market.

You will lead strategic planning, financial modeling, and guidance across AI, ML, Cloud, data analytics, and packaging trends, partnering with global teams to shape the product and solution portfolio.

Qualifications

• BSEE or BSCS degree required; MSEE or MBA preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in IC industry and/or EDA.
• Deep knowledge of EDA/IC/IP industries and customer challenges.
• Ability to guide strategy and process development in new tech areas.
• Familiarity with trends in AI/ML, Cloud, 3D IC, IoT and related business trends.
• Proven ability to work in fast-paced, multi-disciplinary teams.
• Experience implementing strategies at product or organizational levels.
• Strong communication skills, including PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and align product lifecycle management processes across all EDA portfolio units.
• Facilitate consistent new product introduction and release management across all EDA portfolio units.
• Support financial modeling and analysis to enable optimal business decisions.
• Manage processes, data analysis and communication of the EDA strategic planning team.
• Organize implementation of superior business strategies, guidelines, and principles.
• Serve as enabler across global sales and portfolio units on trends and issues in AI, ML, Cloud, Data Analytics, Chiplets and 3D packaging, 5G, and Edge IoT.
• Advise executive management on future business opportunities and long-term portfolio development.
