Job summary

Huntsman seeks a Senior Ecotoxicologist to provide expert ecotoxicology and environmental risk assessment guidance across its Global EHS Division. Remote work is an option, with travel up to 20%.

The role reports to the Toxicology Team Manager and supports global regulatory submissions across regions. The candidate will oversee hazard data generation, in silico screening (QSAR/read-across), and dossier preparation in IUCLID, collaborating with regulatory specialists to ensure compliance while

Qualifications

• Advanced degree (Master/PhD) with 10+ years in chemical/pharmaceutical industry or CRO.
• Extensive experience in regulatory ecotoxicology, risk assessment and self-classification/labeling (GHS, CLP).
• Experience with EU REACH, TSCA and Canada chemical registration.
• Proficient with OECD QSAR Toolbox, IUCLID, CHESAR and easyTRA.

Responsibilities

• Provide ecotoxicology and environmental risk assessment expertise across Huntsman divisions.
• Support product development and regulatory submissions with hazard data and read-across.
• Lead environmental testing strategy to minimize animal testing while protecting health and environment.
• Collaborate with regulatory teams to ensure compliance across regions (US, EU, Canada, Asia).
• Maintain up-to-date ecotoxicology data in Huntsman databases and communicate changes to stakeholders.
