Job summary

Robotics Technologies LLC in Plano, TX is seeking a Senior Ecommerce Enterprise Architect to lead end-to-end ecommerce initiatives, migrating to Java/Spring Boot microservices and React front-ends, while aligning with domain-driven design and UDP patterns.

You will own solution architecture across migration tracks, drive API and event-driven integration, mentor engineers, and collaborate with onsite and offshore teams to ensure production readiness and measurable delivery.

Qualifications

• Senior ecommerce enterprise architect with end-to-end ecommerce life cycle experience.
• Ability to conceive and present architectures to customer leadership and win buy-in.
• Strong understanding of domain-driven design in architecting composable ecommerce solutions.
• Own solution architecture and delivery for migration tracks including storefront, services, data migration and cutover.
• Define reusable UDP patterns for canonical domains with adapters for brand-specific behavior.
• Lead decomposition of legacy SFCC capabilities into Java/Spring Boot microservices and React experiences.
• Design integration patterns using APIs, events, Kafka and middleware across enterprise systems.
• Guide migration sequencing, data mapping, synchronization, rollback/roll-forward, performance and security decisions.
• Conduct architecture reviews, estimation, governance, and risk management across onsite/offshore teams.
• Mentor engineers and collaborate with product/client architects; document decisions and interfaces.
• Champion AI-assisted engineering and automated quality practices with traceability.

Job Description:

• We are looking at senior ecommerce enterprise architect who has led at least with 4 ecommerce life cycle end to end implementation using custom microservices based ecommerce solution.
• Should have experience in conceiving and presenting ecommerce architectural solutions to customer leadership and winning the same. Please mention in detail what you have done in this regard.
• Should have through understanding of domain driven design in architecting, composable custom ecommerce solutions.
• Own solution architecture and technical delivery for one or more migration tracks, covering storefront, commerce services, integrations, data migration, testing, cutover, and hypercare.
• Define reusable UDP patterns for canonical customer, catalog, price, order, payment, and content domains, with brand-specific behavior isolated through adapters and provider interfaces.
• Lead decomposition of legacy and SFCC capabilities into Java/Spring Boot microservices and React experiences; maximize reuse of the existing UDP foundation without carrying forward obsolete customizations.
• Design integration patterns for retained OMS, ERP, payment, loyalty, catalog, search, CMS, and other enterprise systems using APIs, events, Kafka, and approved middleware.
• Guide migration sequencing, data mapping, synchronization, and reconciliation, rollback/roll-forward, performance, resiliency, security, observability, and production-readiness decisions.
• Run architecture reviews, estimation, backlog refinement, code reviews, technical risk management, and design governance across onsite and offshore teams.
• Mentor engineers, collaborate with product and client architects, present trade-offs clearly, and maintain decision records, interface contracts, and implementation standards.
• Champion AI-assisted engineering and automated quality practices where approved, with human review, traceability, secure handling of source code, and measurable productivity outcomes.
