Job summary

The Christ Hospital Health Network is seeking a Sonographer to perform non-invasive vascular and echocardiography studies, ensuring high-quality imaging and accurate documentation. You will engage with patients, educate families as needed, and collaborate with physicians and staff to support quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Ultrasound training program or ARDMS registry eligible.
• At least 1 year of relevant modality experience, or graduation within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform non-invasive vascular and/or echo testing.
• Follow testing protocols to produce high quality imaging.
• Obtain patient history prior to tests.
• Ensure supporting information for exams is documented.
• Explain testing procedures to patients and staff.
• Maintain clean work areas and adequate supplies.
• Collaborate with team to optimize productivity.
• Schedule add-on and emergency exams to maintain workflow.
