Job summary

Catholic Health Physician Practices is seeking an experienced Echo Technologist to perform high-quality transthoracic echocardiograms and support accurate cardiac diagnoses. You will collaborate with physicians and ensure patient comfort while maintaining exam quality.

Responsibilities include acquiring M-Mode, 2D, Doppler, and stress echocardiography, calculating EF and valve gradients, preparing patients, and entering data into clinical systems.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited ultrasound program.
• ARDMS certification required.
• Minimum 2 years of direct patient care experience.
• Strong computer skills and ability to lift/move patients and equipment as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform transthoracic echocardiograms (M-Mode, 2D, Doppler, and stress echo).
• Analyze and calculate cardiac measurements (e.g., ejection fraction, valve gradients).
• Identify normal and abnormal cardiac structures and function.
• Prepare and position patients; explain procedures clearly.
• Ensure accurate patient identification and documentation.
• Maintain equipment and exam room cleanliness.
• Enter and transmit data into clinical systems.
• Collaborate with physicians and assist with contrast administration as needed.
