Job summary

KinderCare Learning Companies is seeking a Sr. Teacher to lead curriculum delivery and mentor fellow teachers in a Wisconsin-based center.

You will create a safe, engaging space for children to explore and learn, while partnering with families to support each child’s growth and development. The role requires WI Lead Teacher qualifications, Registry level 6, and strong customer service with excellent organizational skills.

Qualifications

• 3 years of center-based ECE experience.
• Meets the Wisconsin Lead Teacher education requirements and Registry level 6.
• Excellent customer service and strong organizational skills.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 40 pounds and engage with children.
• Read, write, understand, and speak English to communicate with children and families.

Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation of KinderCare's curriculum in a way that is consistent with the unique needs of each child.
• Lead, coach and mentor less experienced teachers in your classroom; model behaviors and provide feedback.
• Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can play and learn.
• Partner and connect with parents with a shared desire to provide the best care and education for their children.
• Support your center's success; partner with center staff and leadership to achieve goals around enrollment, accreditation, and engagement.
• Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, state licensing authorities, community contacts and corporate partners
