Job summary

Marotta Controls in Parsippany, NJ is seeking a Senior Staff ECAD Designer to lead high-quality PCB layouts and documentation for aerospace/defense programs. The role requires deep OrCAD/Cadence expertise and IPC standards to move designs from concept to manufacturing release.

You will collaborate with Electrical, Mechanical and Manufacturing engineers, manage libraries, and ensure designs meet high voltage/current, manufacturability and cost requirements in a fast-paced production environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in ECAD electrical design with schematic capture and PCB layout in OrCAD/Cadence.
• Familiar with IPC Class II & III for circuit board design and manufacturing.
• Strong communication, organization and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver OrCAD-based PCB layouts and documentation for manufacturing.
• Create and maintain libraries, symbols, and footprints per IPC standards.
• Collaborate with Electrical, Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering teams.
