Job summary

Moseley Technical Services, Inc. seeks a Senior ECAD PCB Design Engineer to support defense/aerospace electronics by designing complex high-speed PCBs using Xpedition VX and robust reliability standards.

Responsibilities include creating layouts, BOMs, and documentation; designing DSP/RF/mixed-signal boards; impedance control and packaging; and collaboration with IPTs through the product lifecycle. U.S. Citizenship is required by Federal Law.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field with 8+ years of experience; or Master's with 6+ years.
• Extensive ECAD experience designing complex PCBs using ECAD tools.
• Experience with Xpedition VX 2.13 or newer.

Responsibilities

• Create, revise, and maintain PCB layouts, drawings, and BOMs.
• Design high-speed, high-density layouts for DSP, RF, and mixed-signal systems.
• Meet electrical, mechanical, manufacturability, and reliability requirements.
• Place components, route signals, manage impedance, and package electronics.
• Produce fabrication drawings and engineering release packages.
• Collaborate across IPTs through the product lifecycle.
• Optimize for signal integrity, EMI, manufacturability, and performance.
• Troubleshoot data, docs, and vendor configuration issues.
