Job summary

Tecolote Research, Inc. is seeking a Senior Earned Value Management professional to support DoD and Space Force programs at SSC, performing EVM analysis and delivering findings to program managers. The role requires on-site engagement at a secure facility and collaboration with government teams.

You will mentor project officers, participate in IBRs, and ensure compliance with EVM standards, with strong PowerBI skills and the ability to obtain a Secret clearance.

Qualifications

  • 8–12 years of Earned Value Management and Program Control experience, preferably with DoD or aerospace programs.
  • Proficient with EVM tools such as wInsight and strong knowledge of EVM standards and practices.
  • Experience leading and supporting Compliance Analysis, Performance Analysis, Predictability Analysis, IBRs, and EVM training.
  • Familiarity with systems engineering, large-scale development/test programs, risk analysis, and cost estimation.
  • Prior work at SSC and/or space programs is preferred; U.S. citizen required.
  • PowerBI proficiency is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

Tecolote Research, Inc. is hiring candidates to perform in a wide variety of Earned Value Management positions:

  • Work closely with Government Program Office teams and contractors
  • Work on-site with the customer at a secure facility at Space Systems Command (SSC)
  • Support the management of major Air Force and Space Force programs at SSC
  • Perform EVM analysis and communicate results to program managers to inform decision-making
  • Plan, Participate, and sometimes lead Integrated Baseline Review (IBR) activities
  • Prepare briefings, management plans, and technical reports for the customer
  • Instruct/mentor project officers on EVM policies, processes, and procedures

Salary Range: $95,000.00 - $105,000.00/Year, DOE

Skills Required
  • Applicants must possess 8-12 years of Earned Value Management (EVM) and Program Control experience, preferably with the Department of Defense or commercial aerospace programs
  • Applicants must demonstrate analytic and presentation skills, be proficient with EVM systems software tools, such as wInsight, and possess extensive knowledge of EVM industry standards and practices
  • Applicants should have experience leading and supporting Compliance Analysis, Performance Analysis, Predictability Analysis, Integrated Baseline Reviews, and EVM specific training
  • Applicants should have familiarity with systems engineering principles and practices, experience with large-scale development and test programs, risk analysis, and cost estimating
  • Prior work at SSC and/or space programs is preferred
  • PowerBI proficiency highly desirable
  • Applicants must be a U.S. citizen, due to the national security nature of the position
  • Additionally, applicants must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance, and be willing and able to work in secure facilities (e.g. a SCIF or SAPF)
Education
