Job summary

Syneos Health is seeking a Principal Statistician for Early Phase studies. This fully home-based position is located in Europe and offers the opportunity to lead statistical activities across clinical trials from protocol through CSR.

The ideal candidate holds a PhD or MS in statistics or a related discipline with 6–8 years of pharmaceutical experience, strong expertise in SAS/R, and proven ability to manage multiple projects and communicate complex statistical concepts clearly.

Qualifications

• PhD or MSc in biostatistics or statistics or related field.
• Experience leading multiple projects in clinical trials.
• Strong programming in R and SAS; ability to implement complex analyses.

Responsibilities

• Serve as statistical department resource and mentor biostatisticians.
• Direct activities of biostatistics personnel to ensure timely, high-quality work.
• Develop and review SAPs and analysis datasets; support regulatory submissions.
