KinderCare in Monroe, NC is seeking a lead teacher to mentor classroom staff and implement our curriculum while meeting each child’s unique needs. You will create a safe, nurturing environment where children can explore and learn, and you’ll partner with parents to support development and well-being.

Success hinges on collaboration with center staff, leadership, and licensing authorities, plus building strong relationships with families and the community.

Qualificações

• Must have strong customer service and organizational skills.
• Active CDA credential or NAEYC candidacy required.
• State trainer certification preferred.
• 2–3 years Early Childhood Education experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education preferred.
• Must meet state-specific qualifications.
• CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain.
• Able to lift 40 pounds and work indoors or outdoors.
• Read, write, and speak English to communicate with children and parents.

Responsabilidades

• Lead, coach and mentor less experienced teachers in your classroom; model behaviors and provide feedback.
• Implement KinderCare's curriculum in a way that meets the unique needs of each child.
• Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can play and learn.
• Partner and connect with parents to provide the best care and education for their children.
• Support your center’s success; collaborate with staff and leadership on enrollment, accreditation, and engagement.
• Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, licensing authorities, community contacts and corporate partners.
