Job summary

KinderCare is seeking a dedicated Lead Teacher in Charlotte to lead and mentor a classroom, implementing our curriculum to meet each child’s unique needs.

You will create a safe, nurturing space for play and learning, while partnering with families to support development and learning goals. The role emphasizes collaboration with center staff, licensing authorities, and community partners to drive enrollment and engagement.

Qualifications

• Outstanding customer service skills, strong organizational skills, and the ability to multi-task and handle multiple situations effectively
• Possess active CDA Credential or meet NAEYC candidacy requirements; Approved state trainer preferred
• 2-3 years Early Childhood Education Experience (preferred); Bachelor’s degree in ECE preferred; state qualifications compliance

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and mentor less experienced teachers; model behaviors and provide feedback
• Implement KinderCare's curriculum in a way that aligns with each child’s needs
• Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can play and learn
• Partner with parents to support child development and family engagement
• Support center success; collaborate with staff to achieve enrollment, accreditation, and engagement goals
• Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, licensing authorities, and community partners
