Job summary

Nouryon is seeking an experienced E&I Specialist in Morris, Illinois to assist in developing maintenance plans for I&E equipment. Responsibilities include troubleshooting, collaborating with teams on maintenance activities, and providing technical support to enhance operational reliability.

The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of experience in electrical distribution systems and instrumentation, along with an associate’s degree or equivalent certification. Knowledge of OSHA regulations is also required.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of field experience in electrical systems and instrumentation.
• Experience in chemical/petrochemical manufacturing is beneficial.
• Experience managing facility contractors.

Responsibilities

• Support site operations and maintenance based on I&E expertise.
• Audit PMs and update SOPs and plans as needed.
• Ensure timely maintenance through contractor collaboration.
• Participate in safety activities and respond during emergencies.

Skills

Troubleshooting and maintaining electrical distribution systems

PLC and DCS systems

Process instrumentation

Knowledge of OSHA regulations

Self-motivated and ability to work independently

Education

Associate’s degree in instrumentation or equivalent certification
