Job summary

FMA Services in Belgium seeks a Senior E&I Pre-Commissioning Superintendent to lead the safe, structured transition from construction to pre-commissioning and energization. You will align priorities, procedures, resources, and interfaces to drive milestones.

You will supervise supervisors, technicians, vendors, and subcontractors, manage LOTO/PTW and tests, and liaise with engineering, QA/QC, and commissioning teams to hand over systems on schedule.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor/Master in E&I, Electromechanics, or equivalent.
• Experience: Minimum 10 years in E&I/commissioning, incl. 3+ years in leadership.
• Certificates: VCA-VOL and ATEX/IEC 60079 knowledge are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead E&I pre-commissioning activities per system/subsystem and manage readiness.
• Coordinate construction completion, tests, energization readiness, and punch closure.
• Draft and review procedures, execution plans, and test documentation.
• Manage supervisors, technicians, vendors, and subcontractors and priorities.
• Monitor LOTO, PTW controls, and safe interfaces between construction and live systems.
• Collaborate with engineering, QA/QC, completions and commissioning for handover.
• Identify constraints and escalate risks threatening milestones.
• Report progress, blockers, and recovery actions to project management.
