Job summary
KBR Sustainable Technology Solutions (STS) seeks an Electrical & Instrumentation Lead to act as the PMC technical authority for planning, design verification, integration, construction assurance, commissioning, qualification, and startup of electrical and instrumentation systems on large-capital projects.
Role requires a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering, 10+ years in electrical/control systems on industrial projects, and strong knowledge of power distribution, process control, and safety
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related technical discipline.
- Minimum 10 years of experience with electrical and control systems on industrial capital projects.
- Experience with power distribution, utility systems, process control logic and automation.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate activities among Client stakeholders, PMC team, EPCM contractor(s), equipment suppliers, automation vendors, and construction contractors.
- Provide leadership in power distribution design reviews, instrument and controls verification, automation integration, and FAT/SAT oversight.
- Act as the primary integration point for electrical, instrumentation, controls, and automation systems.
- Drive collaboration across engineering, construction, CQV, manufacturing, maintenance, and operations for successful project delivery and startup.
