Job summary

McKim & Creed, Inc. is seeking a Senior E&I Designer to join the Water Business Unit in Clearwater, FL. The role focuses on electrical and controls design for water and wastewater facilities, with responsibility for producing detailed drawings and supporting multi-disciplinary teams.

Ideal candidates have a minimum of 10 years of experience, proficiency in AutoCAD and Autodesk Revit, and a strong background in instrumentation, PLCs, and panel layouts. On-site work in Clearwater is expected.

Qualifications

• 10 years of related engineering design experience.
• Experience with AutoCAD and Autodesk Revit design.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical and design services for water/wastewater design projects as part of a multi-discipline team.
• Complete design tasks within budget and on schedule.
• Communicate with Project Managers and engineers to complete work efficiently.
• Design and layout of engineering drawings; produce drawings or sketches as required.
• Occasional fieldwork to observe site work.
