Job summary
SYRAH TECHNOLOGIES LLC in Vidalia, LA is seeking an E&I Systems Specialist to lead electrical and instrumentation support for the Vidalia Anode Material processing facility. You will coordinate maintenance, troubleshooting, commissioning, and project work safely and efficiently, aligning with plant priorities.
Key duties include guiding E&I personnel, resolving PLC/DeltaV issues, coordinating daily activities, and driving continuous improvement to reduce downtime and improve equipment
Qualifications
- 6+ years of relevant industry experience.
- Associate’s degree in industrial automation or 3+ years hands-on E/I and automation experience.
- Vendor-specific training certificates (Rockwell/Allen Bradley, Siemens, or Emerson DeltaV) are a major plus.
- Prior experience coordinating E&I technicians or maintenance personnel is strongly preferred.
- Hands-on automation experience with PLCs, HMIs, alarms, interlocks, and control sequences.
Responsibilities
- Provide guidance to E&I personnel while ensuring safe maintenance, troubleshooting, and project work.
- Coordinate daily work activities and resources for E&I tasks.
- Review PLC/DeltaV logic, HMI data, alarms, interlocks, and field feedback.
- Lead safety compliance, 5S, lockout/tagout, and incident investigations.
- Support commissioning/startup activities and ensure plant readiness.
- Collaborate with operations, maintenance, and automation to reduce downtime.
