Job summary

The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) seeks an Engineer 7 to serve as technical advisor and primary project manager for statewide construction and materials software initiatives, including AASHTOware Site Manager and La Pave Online. In this role you will lead implementations, provide expert guidance, and collaborate with FHWA and contractors.

Responsibilities

• Serve as technical advisor to senior division leadership on construction and materials issues.
• Lead primary project management for development and implementation of software applications and automation.
• Develop policies, procedures, and training; collaborate with other states, FHWA, LTRC and contractors.
• Assist with budget, personnel, and organizational matters; act as technical expert on committees.
