The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) seeks an Engineer 7 to serve as technical advisor and primary project manager for statewide construction and materials software initiatives, including AASHTOware Site Manager and La Pave Online. This position is located in the DOTD Construction and Materials Automation Unit. This unit is responsible for project management, implementation, operation, and support of multiple state-wide specialized Construction and Materials Management software applications, including AASHTOware Site Manager, La Pave Online, Headlight, and construction and materials reporting.

There is no substitution for licensed engineering experience.
Compensation: This position has a Special Entrance Rate (SER) - $3,481.60/biweekly. The actual starting salary depends on the education and experience of the selected applicant.
Appointment Type: This position may be filled as either a probational appointment (open to all qualified applicants); a promotion (open to all statewide classified and Agency-wide permanent status employees); Job Appointment, or by detail to special duty.
