Job summary
Amazon is seeking a Sr. Software Development Engineer for the DynamoDB Observability and Performance team.
You will build measurement tools and data products to explain customer experience, identify bottlenecks, and drive performance improvements across the DynamoDB stack. You’ll collaborate with partner teams, design scalable solutions, and mentor engineers while delivering high-quality software in a fast-paced environment focused on reliability and efficiency for millions of customers
Qualifications
- 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- 5+ years of programming with at least one software programming language experience.
- 5+ years of leading design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience.
- Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team.
Responsibilities
- Solve challenging technical problems, often ones not solved before, at every layer of the stack.
- Design, implement, test, deploy and maintain innovative software solutions to measure, describe and improve service performance.
- Build high-quality, highly available, always-on products.
- Mentor and grow junior engineers and work cross-functionally to drive business decisions.
