Job summary

Amazon Development Center U.S., Inc. in Seattle is seeking a deeply technical software engineer to help shape DynamoDB, one of the world's largest NoSQL database services. You will own end-to-end design, implementation, and optimization to deliver single-digit-millisecond performance at scale.

You will work with talented teams across AWS, mentor others, and tackle hard distributed-systems challenges while maintaining a strong bias for customer impact and reliability.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience.
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language.
• 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.

• Own end-to-end software development lifecycle from requirements to operations.
• Design reviews, implementation, code reviews, and incremental feature launches.
• Mentor teammates and drive continuous improvement.
