Job summary

Brown & Brown, Inc. is seeking a Dynamics 365 Developer to join the Dynamics Delivery team within the Retail Software Engineering organization. You will design, develop, implement, and maintain business applications on the Microsoft Dynamics 365 platform to boost operational efficiency and drive growth.

You will work with analysts, designers, architects, agile evangelists, and other developers to deliver solutions that meet business needs using best practices and Power Platform tools.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in CS/SE or related field.
  • Curious mindset to explore and diagnose issues.
  • Strong problem-solving for tech and business scenarios.
  • Detail-oriented, analytical and inquisitive.
  • Proficiency in C#, .NET, TypeScript, JavaScript or similar.
  • Experience with AGILE + DevOps processes.
  • Ability to collaborate and build strong team relationships.
  • Adaptable to changing priorities and multi-project work.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • 5+ years of D365 or related development experience.

Responsibilities

  • Configure, develop and maintain Dynamics delivery components.
  • Model-driven and canvas apps, plugins, and Power Platform tools.
  • Write unit and integration tests within the automation framework.
  • Lead design and architecture of complex Dynamics 365 solutions.
  • Mentor junior developers and lead code reviews.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to optimize processes and propose solutions.
  • Champion continuous improvement in the development process.
  • Mentor and coach Dynamics365 developers for growth.
  • Lead knowledge-sharing sessions on automation tools and best practices.
  • Foster an inclusive, collaborative team environment.

The Dynamics 365 Developer is a critical member of the Dynamics Delivery team within Brown & Brown’s Retail Software Engineering organization. You will play a crucial role in the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of business applications built on the Microsoft Dynamics 365 platform. Your focus will be on delivering high-quality software solutions to enhance operational efficiency, streamline processes, and drive business growth. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, designers, architects, agile evangelists, and other developers, to ensure the successful delivery of products that meet business requirements and align with industry best practices.

How You Will Contribute:
  • Configure, develop and maintain these components for dynamics delivery
  • Model-driven and canvas apps, Plugins and custom controls, Power Platform tools including PowerBI, PowerAutomate, Flows and others
  • Unit an integration test within automation framework
  • Lead the design and architecture of complex Dynamics365 solutions
  • Mentor and guide junior developers, providing technical expertise and support
  • Lead code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to optimize existing processes and propose innovative solutions
  • Champion continuous improvement initiatives in the development process
  • Mentor and coach junior and mid-level Dynamics365 developers, providing technical guidance and support in their professional growth
  • Facilitate regular knowledge-sharing sessions to enhance team members' skills and proficiency in automation tools, development best practices, and software delivery processes
  • Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment, encouraging team members to actively participate in brainstorming sessions, design reviews, and solution discussions

Required:

  • Solid understanding of insurance business processes and industry-specific challenges.
  • Proficiency in C#, JavaScript, Power Platform, and Dynamics365 customizations.
  • Working knowledge of agile methodology, techniques, and frameworks, such as Scrum or Kanban, to deliver solutions.
