Job summary

Mohawk Industries, a Fortune 500 global flooring leader, is seeking a SR Lab Technician for the Dalton, GA area. You will gather daily production samples, perform physical evaluations, and determine quality and anticipated performance.

Responsibilities include building production schedules, coordinating with planning, organizing dye line activities, and supervising lab processes while ensuring safety and standard operating procedures are followed.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in inventory, color/dyeing field, or planning.
• High school/GED required.
• Knowledge of colors and chemicals, able to test products and communicate results to others.

Responsibilities

• Oversee & Guide Head Dye Lab Tech in building schedules.
• Coordinate with planning to build a production schedule for the line.
• Plan Dye Line production schedule and organize daily schedules and dye blocks.
• Organize "TPR" trials and review/execute master plan.
• Oversee header leader usage and PD/SR samples; layout reverse/shear production.
• Retrieve samples for testing and certificates of analysis for raw materials.
• Compile data/graphs reflecting production results and communicate to personnel.
