Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is hiring a Sr. DSP Systems Engineer (Silicon Engineering) to advance Starlink ASIC platforms and next-gen RF sensing systems.

You will collaborate with systems, firmware, architecture, validation, and product teams to deliver high-performance silicon for space and ground infrastructures. You will design and test algorithms, simulate modem and beamforming performance, and contribute to AI-driven architectures and multi-access schemes while ensuring reliability for

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in STEM or related field.
• 5+ years in system-level modeling, DSP, or RF/wireless design.
• Advanced degree preferred in EE or communications.

Responsibilities

• Drive program-level decisions on sensor firmware, software, and AI-driven architecture for RF sensing and satellite broadband systems.
• Research and develop solutions with digital beamforming, massive MIMO, and direct-to-device tech for on-orbit and ground applications.
• Design, model, and test algorithms for system- and link-level performance with modem and beamforming simulations.
• Collaborate with ASIC/FPGA, RF/antenna, and software engineers to bring up RF sensing and comms systems.
• Generate spacecraft/consumer equipment specs, test procedures, and vectors; support silicon bring-up and on-orbit demos.
• Analyze system performance, link budgets, impairments, and test plans under dynamic program needs.
