Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Sr. DSP Systems Engineer (Silicon Engineering) to advance Starlink’s RF sensing and satellite broadband systems.

You will drive AI-driven architectures, digital beamforming, and massive MIMO in collaboration with cross-functional teams including ASIC/FPGA and software engineers. You will model, simulate, and validate system- and link-level performance, and contribute to silicon bring-up and on-orbit demonstrations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical/computer engineering, physics, math, or STEM.
• 5+ years of experience in system-level modeling, digital signal processing, or RF/wireless system design.
• Master's degree in electrical engineering with emphasis in communication systems or related fields.
• Experience with AI-driven architecture, advanced digital beamforming, massive MIMO, and direct-to-device technologies.

Responsibilities

• Drive program-level decisions on sensor firmware, software, and AI-driven architecture for RF sensing and satellite broadband systems.
• Research and develop solutions with digital beamforming, massive MIMO, and direct-to-device tech.
• Design, model, and test system-level and link-level performance with simulations.
• Collaborate with ASIC/FPGA, RF/antenna, and software engineers to validate silicon-based systems.
• Generate specifications, requirements, and test procedures; support silicon bring-up and demonstrations.
• Analyze system performance and implement test plans under dynamic needs.
