Job summary

SunSoft Online is seeking an experienced Drupal Developer for an Arizona state agency to architect, build, and maintain enterprise web applications while taking full ownership of development, UI, QA, and accessibility standards. This role is 100% onsite in Phoenix, AZ.

You will focus on Drupal 10/11 module and theme development, integrate APIs, optimize queries, and drive performance, security updates, and migrations. Onsite-only work and strict screen-reader accessibility testing are required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on Drupal development experience.
• Strong expertise in PHP, Twig, CSS/SASS, MySQL/PostgreSQL, and custom module/theme development.
• ADA/WCAG 2.2 Level AA accessibility compliance experience.

Responsibilities

• Architect, build, and maintain custom Drupal 10/11 modules and themes.
• Integrate third-party APIs; optimize MySQL/PostgreSQL queries.
• Lead performance optimization and security updates; assist with migrations.
