Job summary

NuAxis, LLC in Washington, DC seeks a talented Senior Full Stack Drupal Lead to architect and deliver modernization of legacy applications on Drupal 10+ within the DOL/WHD environment. You will drive technical standards, guide a Drupal team, and ensure secure, scalable cloud deployments across on-prem and cloud platforms.

The role emphasizes collaboration with federal stakeholders, multistep forms, and enterprise integration with Appian, Kafka, and AWS/Azure services.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
10+ years in hands-on full stack development with team lead/architect roles.
Drupal expertise including Webform module and integration with federal systems.
Proficiency in PHP, Symfony/Drupal APIs, MySQL, JavaScript, Twig, and REST design.
Experience migrating legacy .NET apps and migrating data.
Experience with AWS/Azure and container deployments.

Responsibilities

Lead Drupal team architecture, design, development, testing and administration.
Own target Drupal solution architecture aligned with product roadmaps.
Design event-driven integrations between Drupal and Appian using Kafka and REST.
Integrate Drupal with federal systems on premises and in the cloud.
Build enterprise form framework on Drupal Webform with multilingual support.
Create reusable enterprise components and data migration plans.
Oversee security, performance, and accessibility compliance; lead code reviews.
Mentor developers and coordinate Agile/SAFe ceremonies.
