Job summary

County of Marin's Information Services and Technology department seeks a Senior Drupal & Full-Stack Systems Engineer to own and evolve the public-facing web platform, including MarinCounty.gov. You will design, develop, and troubleshoot complex Drupal solutions while ensuring security, performance, accessibility, and reliability.

Qualifications

Six-year combination of professional experience, certification, and/or relevant coursework.
Experience with Drupal architecture and public-facing websites.
Knowledge of web technologies, APIs, and security best practices.
Experience with accessibility and ICT standards.
Experience with project management and public-sector context.

Responsibilities

Serve as the primary technical engineer for the County’s Drupal platform.
Lead Drupal development and platform improvements.
Support the development of new County websites and digital services.
Provide technical direction as Drupal technologies evolve.
Collaborate with departments, vendors, and staff to deliver scalable solutions.
Ensure security, accessibility, performance, and reliability.
