Sierra7 is seeking a Sr. Software Developer to shape the digital experience for critical federal systems. You will design and maintain secure, high-performing Drupal platforms that serve important public missions, protecting data and ensuring accessibility for every user.

The role offers a Hybrid/Remote arrangement with on-site support in Arlington, VA as needed and requires a 4‑year degree, active Drupal certification, and extensive Drupal platform experience.

Qualifications

• Applies expert knowledge of WCAG and DHS Trusted Tester requirements to build fully accessible web applications.
• Configures content search, taxonomy, metadata, and analytics instrumentation accurately.
• Troubleshoots and diagnoses intricate issues across applications, integrations, configurations, and infrastructure boundaries.
• Communicates technical concepts clearly and collaborates effectively with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Designs robust Drupal architecture and builds custom modules to meet strict federal standards.
• Secures platforms within SBU and FOUO environments to protect sensitive information.
• Optimizes platform performance and scales applications to handle high user traffic smoothly.
• Manages version control workflows and executes automated builds, testing, code scanning, and deployments.
• Executes smooth rollback processes when technical issues arise.
• Implements accessibility and security requirements for federal web projects.
• Automates workflow deployments and diagnoses complex problems across system boundaries.
