Job summary

One Federal Solution is seeking an Application Software Developer/Engineer to deliver web apps on the Drupal LAMP stack for NAL core systems. You will design USWDS-aligned themes, migrate custom code, and integrate MFA while supporting CI/CD, security patches, and production releases.

The role requires strong Linux, Git/GitHub, and database skills, plus experience with security standards like NIST and FedRAMP. Collaboration with stakeholders and cross-functional teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or related field.
• 6+ years of professional experience with Drupal (LAMP Stack).
• 2–3 years Python programming.
• 2–3 years designing Drupal themes per USWDS.
• Experience migrating custom code to newer Drupal versions.
• Experience with Drupal site-building—modules and custom modules.
• Experience in Linux CLI and LAMP environment.
• Experience with Git/GitHub version control.
• Experience with MFA integration in Drupal.
• Knowledge of NIST and FedRAMP security standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide web app development and O&M support using Drupal for NAL core apps.
• Design Drupal themes in accordance with USWDS.
• Migrate and adjust custom Drupal code for latest versions.
• Integrate MFA with Drupal sites and apps.
• Manage GitHub CI/CD pipelines for deployments and releases.
• Mitigate Drupal security advisories and apply patches.
• Develop, test, deploy, and maintain Drupal apps and modules.
• Perform advanced site-building with contributed and custom modules.
• Support deployments, updates, troubleshooting, and releases.
• Collaborate to evaluate migration paths and modernization.
