Job summary

Dynamic Integrated Services is seeking a Drupal Designer and Developer to join our Design and Digital Services team in support of federal clients, delivering accessible, responsive Drupal experiences.

The role blends strong visual and UX design with hands-on Drupal development, translating requirements into wireframes, templates, and components while ensuring branding standards across updates. Remote work, full-time, with security clearance readiness.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or higher in web development, computer science, digital design, or related field.
At least five years of professional web design and development experience, including hands-on Drupal development and Drupal 10 delivery.
Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Drupal theming and templating; experience with React or Twig; PHP knowledge for Drupal code.
Hands-on experience configuring Drupal content types, fields, Views, blocks, and reusable components within a design system.
Strong understanding of responsive design, typography, layout, visual hierarchy, navigation, and user-centered design.
Ability to translate approved concepts into usable pages using design tools (e.g., Figma).
Experience applying accessibility requirements (Section 508, WCAG) and performing accessibility checks.
Ability to interpret analytics and usability feedback to improve design and implementation.
Experience using Git or GitHub and preparing code for review.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement approved website content and design changes in a Drupal 10 environment.
Translate requirements into page layouts, wireframes, prototypes, and responsive designs while maintaining branding and design standards.
Create Drupal-compatible code, page components, templates, and supporting technical materials that are maintainable.
Select, configure, adapt, and arrange code and components from an existing component library and coordinate enhancements.
Apply user behavior analyses to improve page organization, navigation, content presentation, and interactions.
Coordinate with client web, content, design, and technical teams to confirm requirements and feedback.
Test content, components, and templates for functionality, accessibility, and browser compatibility; document findings.
Prepare implementation handoff materials including code, assets, config, documentation, and test results.
Respond to technical questions and troubleshoot issues identified during integration and testing.
Manage assigned work, communicate progress and risks, and deliver on schedule.
