Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC in Seattle, WA, is seeking a Product Support Engineering (PSO) Service Engineer to enhance reliability across the drone delivery network and collaborate with design engineering to drive improvements. You will work with operations and engineers to translate data into actionable fixes and scalable solutions.

The role requires strong mechanical and electrical fundamentals, plus clear communication with stakeholders at all levels.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent.
7+ years of engineering experience.
Experience designing complex mechanical products and equipment at volume.

Responsibilities

Investigate drone system performance and deliver solutions to operations and maintenance teams.
Lead cross-functional system investigations with engineering, maintenance, and operations teams to optimize drone system performance metrics and drive improvements.
Develop innovative hardware designs for our emerging drone systems and improve existing hardware to optimize performance and enhance customer experience.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives using data-driven insights to establish benchmark standards and reduce operational burdens.
Work with Operations, Manufacturing, Supply Chain and Quality organizations as well as vendors to ensure a smooth product launch and sustaining.
Develop and maintain documentation for technical procedures.
Communicate effectively across all organizational levels, presenting strategies and results to senior leadership and operational partners.
