Job summary

Southern California Edison seeks a Senior Drive School and Vehicle Training Specialist to lead driver safety and fleet training across field operations. You’ll serve as SME for training practices and help shape the safety and skills foundation for Edison drivers and fleet teams.

The role emphasizes developing and delivering classroom and field training, assessing learning outcomes, and coordinating with operations and engineering.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of experience in electric utility line work, training and/or instructional design.
• Possess a valid Class C Driver's License.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.

Responsibilities

• Facilitates instructor-led training in classroom and field settings.
• Develops and maintains training curriculum and assessments.
• Administers tests and evaluates participant learning outcomes.
• Partners with operations and TSD engineering to update equipment and procedures.
• Maintains safety-first training culture and follows company safety protocols.
