Job summary

EOG Resources, Inc. in Denver, Colorado, seeks a drilling engineer to plan and design vertical and horizontal wells, write AFEs, and analyze performance and costs across development and exploration programs.

You will work with G&G, Reservoir, Completion, Land, Construction and Regulatory teams and provide daily supervisory guidance for multiple rig operations. Requirements include a BS in Engineering (Petroleum Engineering preferred) and a minimum of three years in drilling engineering, with

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering with preference for Petroleum Engineering and 3+ years drilling experience.
• Experience in horizontal well bore design and execution.
• Strong communication, leadership and ability to supervise field personnel.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate vendor performance and apply new technologies.
