Job summary

TE Connectivity is seeking a Drill Press Operator to set up and operate drill presses and related shop equipment in a manual machining environment. You will ensure components meet specifications through careful setup, measurement, and inspection.

The role requires strong mechanical aptitude, blueprint reading, and strict adherence to safety. Team-based work and continuous improvement participation are expected in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Strong math skills and attention to detail.
• Experience operating manufacturing equipment in production.
• Ability to work with close tolerances and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate drill presses and other production machinery.
• Load, position, and remove materials and finished parts.
• Maintain machine safety devices and safe operation practices.
• Read engineering drawings and follow quality standards.
• Use precision instruments to verify dimensions and compliance.
• Assist with tool replenishment and machine maintenance.
• Collaborate in a team environment and share instruction as needed.
