Job summary

Qualifications

• 5+ years hydraulic equipment operating experience.
• Experience with Epiroc top hammer drills or similar preferred.
• Valid Driver's License with own reliable transportation, must be a truck.
• One year experience in the construction industry.
• Experience as a construction laborer.
• Must be able to pass ATF screenings.

Responsibilities

• Safely perform all construction or quarry drilling activity in accordance with the job program to achieve anticipated production.
• Follow Safety Policies and Procedures; perform daily maintenance activities for safe, efficient operation of assigned equipment, including Epiroc top hammer drills.
• Understand drill patterns and terminology, execute drill pattern and layout as established by the Blaster Foreman.
• Maximize the usage of all drill supplies.
• Inventory accessories, manage cost of accessories and maintenance drills.
• Communicate problems and terrain conditions to the Blasting Supervisor.
• Complete drill reports, hole sheets, and signed timecards via Field Accounting system.
