Mannik Smith Group in Taylorsville, UT is seeking a Senior Professional Engineer - Drainage to lead hydraulic design on large DOT projects and coordinate with a multi-disciplinary team. The role interfaces with state and local agencies and requires strong project leadership.

Candidates should hold a civil engineering degree and be a PE; 8–12 years of hydraulics design experience is preferred, with proficiency in ORD, ORD Drainage, and related software.

Qualificações

• Must hold a PE license and a degree in civil engineering.
• 8–12 years of hydraulics design experience, including road drainage and flood control facilities.
• Experience with transportation and flood control agencies preferred.
• Proficiency with MicroStation, ORD, and related hydrology software is expected.

Responsabilidades

• Perform and direct hydrology and hydraulic design for DOT projects (bridges, roadways, highways, freeways).
• Prepare studies, reports, plans, specifications, and cost estimates for transportation projects.
• Lead a team of engineers, technicians, and staff to complete projects.
• Interface with state and local agencies and coordinate meetings with stakeholders.
• Coordinate resources with other project managers and offices.
• Assist in proposal preparation including oral presentations.
• Prepare scope, schedule, and budgets for new projects.
• Ensure on-time project delivery and budget adherence.
