Job summary

By Light Professional IT Services is seeking IT Service/PMO professionals for the EWOCS contract, supporting Patrick Space Force Base, Cape Canaveral and Vandenberg. Responsibilities include CAD drawings, system planning, and rigorous configuration management to ensure compliant communications infrastructures.

The role requires an associate or bachelor’s in a drafting/engineering field, and experience with AutoCAD, ArcGIS and MicroStation.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in drafting, engineering, or related field.
• Experience with AutoCAD, ArcGIS and MicroStation CAD software.
• Understanding of technical standards, principles, theories and concepts.
• Under general direction solves moderately complex technical problems.

Responsibilities

• Create 2D/3D technical drawings using CAD software.
• Provide communication system planning, engineering, project management and configuration management.
• Comply with CSIR/CIPS documentation and CVC visualization requirements for all systems.
• Maintain communication records and initial drawings for cables and equipment in CIPS/CVC.
• Review, validate annually and redline CSIRs per CSIR Manager instructions.

Responsibilities

• Use computer-aided design software to create 3D and 2D technical drawings
• Provide communication system planning, engineering, project management, and configuration management.
• Comply with all Configuration Management Communications Systems Installation Records (CSIR) documentation/Cybersecurity Infrastructure Planning System (CIPS) Visualization Component (CVC) for all communication systems.
• Maintain communication records, including creation of initial drawings, for all communications and information cables, termination equipment, and end-item equipment in CIPS/CVC or replacement system.
• Review, validate annually, and redline all CSIRs as requested by the CSIR Manager via CIPS.

Required Experience/Qualifications

• Associate\'s or Bachelor\'s degree in drafting, engineering, or a relevant field
• Experience with AutoCAD and/or ArcGIS and MicroStation CAD Software
• Experienced with applications of technical standards, principles, theories, and concepts.
• Working under general direction, provides solutions to a wide range of technical problems of moderate scope and complexity.
• Independently determines and develops approach to solutions.

Preferred Experience/Qualifications

• Working Knowledge of USAF CIPS/CVC Program Software
