Job summary

By Light Professional IT Services LLC is recruiting dedicated IT Service and PMO professionals to support national security missions at Patrick Space Force Base, Cape Canaveral Space Force Station, and Vandenberg AFB.

You will maintain multi-user systems, monitor resources, perform security administration, and collaborate with vendors while complying with DoD standards. A DoD Active Secret Clearance is required.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of experience and a BA/BS degree or equivalent.
• Familiar with technical standards, principles and theories.
• Works under general supervision solving moderate scope/complexity problems.

Responsibilities

• Maintains smooth operation of multi-user computer systems.
• Monitors and manages system resources to maintain performance.
• Performs systems security administration and user provisioning.
• Sets up admin accounts, maintains system documentation, tunes performance.
• Interacts with users, evaluates vendor products, and makes recommendations.
• Gathers requirements and helps with hardware/software purchases.

Responsibilities

• Maintains smooth operation of multi-user computer systems, including coordination with network engineers.
• Monitors and manages system resources, including CPU usage, disk usage, and response times to maintain operating efficiency.
• Performs systems security administration functions, including creating user profiles and accounts.
• Other duties may include setting up administrator accounts, maintaining system documentation, tuning system performance, installing system wide software and allocating mass storage space.
• Interacts with users and evaluates vendor products.
• Makes recommendations to purchase hardware and software, coordinates installation and provides backup recovery.
• Develops and monitors policies and standards for allocation related to the use of computing resources.
• May be assigned responsibility for less experienced staff.

Required Experience/Qualifications

• 2-5 years' experience and a BA/BS degree or equivalent
• Experienced with frequent use and application of technical standards, principles and theories.
• Works under general supervision, providing solutions to technical problems of moderate scope/complexity.

Salary Range

Salary Minimum: $90,000

Salary Maximum: $120,000
