Senior Drafting & Configuration Management Specialist

The Opportunity:

CCI is seeking a Senior Drafting & Configuration Management Specialist to support the strategic mission systems at the Global Operations Center (GOC) for USSTRATCOM. Your expertise in drafting and configuration management will ensure the accuracy, quality, and integrity of technical documentation and system configurations critical to mission success. The work location for this position is Omaha, Nebraska. The position is contingent upon award of the United States Strategic Command SCITLS contract.

Responsibilities:
  1. Prepare, review, revise, and produce Product Drawings, specifications, and associated Parts Lists for SCITLS integration and installation.
  2. Support engineering services in developing 3D Modeling and CAD.
  3. Develop drawings and designs using CAE suite.
  4. Ensure drawings meet DoD standards and contain sufficient detail for engineering evaluation, equipment integration, and procurement.
  5. Prepare non-dimensional and Level II production drawings and procurement packages.
  6. Apply comprehensive knowledge across key tasks and high-impact assignments.
  7. Function as a technical expert across multiple projects.
  8. Work rotating shifts as required by mission needs.
  9. Perform other duties as assigned to meet mission requirements and support USSTRATCOM objectives, including guidance or supervision of others if applicable.
Qualifications:

Required:

  • Top Secret with SCI eligibility
  • High School Diploma (Bachelor’s degree preferred)
  • Minimum 7 years of CAD and configuration management experience, preferably in defense/aerospace
  • Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks) and configuration management tools
  • Additional certifications are not applicable

Pay Range

Salary depends on factors like location, experience, skills, and education. Our compensation includes health, wellness, retirement, family support, education, and time off benefits. The proposed salary range is $49,700 - $101,800.
