Job summary

HireQuest Direct is seeking an experienced dozer operator to join our Texas project teams. You will operate bulldozers to execute rough and finish grading, reading blueprints and site plans, and utilizing GPS machine control to achieve precise elevations.

You will work with project managers and surveyors to ensure adherence to specifications, perform daily inspections, and maintain a safe, organized worksite in compliance with OSHA standards. This is a full-time on-site role based in Buda, Texas.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of dozer operating experience in commercial, civil, or residential projects.
• Ability to read blueprints, site plans, and grading plans.

Responsibilities

• Operate bulldozers safely and efficiently to perform rough and finish grading.
• Read and interpret blueprints, site plans, grading plans, and construction drawings.
• Utilize GPS machine control systems and CAD-generated models for precise elevations and grades.
• Perform site preparation, clearing, cut/fill operations, road construction, and pad building.
• Conduct daily equipment inspections and basic preventative maintenance.
• Collaborate with project managers, surveyors, and grade checkers to meet specifications.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment following OSHA and company safety standards.
• Identify and report equipment issues or jobsite hazards promptly.
