Job summary

Oilfield Service Professionals LLC is seeking a Sr. District Engineer to provide high-level technical and operational support for downhole service tools and well construction applications from initial scope review to job execution and post-job analysis.

The role acts as the technical authority for tool selection, pre-job calculations (burst/collapse, torque & drag, axial loads, differential pressure, hydrostatics), real-time rig-site troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and customer

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum or Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years hands-on experience with downhole tools.
• Strong rig-site awareness and excellent communication skills.
• Willingness to travel to rig sites; after-hours support may be required.
• Deepwater Gulf of Mexico experience and API standards familiarity preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-level technical and operational support from scope review through job execution and post-job analysis.
• Serve as the technical authority for tool selection and engineering calculations.
• Review job setups, verify field calculations, and support active operations (including after-hours).
• Lead post-job reviews and lessons learned; professionally represent the company to customers.
